    In Claude (claude.ai, Desktop, or Code), open Settings → Connectors, choose “Add custom connector”, and paste the connector URL: https://mcp.selfinance.pro/mcp. Claude will ask you to sign in with your Google account, and then it can work with your Selfinance data.

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors, enable Developer mode, choose “Create”, and paste the connector URL: https://mcp.selfinance.pro/mcp. Sign in with your Google account when prompted, and ChatGPT can then work with your Selfinance data.

    It can read your profile, net worth, holdings, expenses, and expense categories, and it can add new expenses for you. It cannot edit or delete assets, move money, or change your account — those stay in the Selfinance dashboard.

    Yes. Access is authorized per user with your Google sign-in, tokens are stored hashed, and your AI only ever sees your own data. You can revoke access anytime from Account settings with “Disconnect all”.

    No. The only write action available to a connected AI is adding an expense entry. Everything else is read-only, and there is no access to payments, banks, or subscriptions.

    Every plan includes the connector with a daily AI-call allowance — plenty for daily expense capture and regular budget check-ins on Base, and 5× that allowance on Pro. Your current allowance and usage are always visible to your AI via its profile tool.
